Bale leads Spurs, Arsenal stun Chelsea, City stays on top


Sunday, October 30: Tottenham Hotspur moved up to 5th spot after a 3-1 win over QPR.
Gareth bale scored the opening goal on 20 minutes from Aaron Lennon’s assist. Four minutes before half time, Adebayor burst free from the hapless Rangers defence, but chipped wide.
QPR came back strongly after the break when Joy Bothroyd headed on 62 minutes, but Bale scored again with a stunning strike from he edge of the box to make a safe win over QPR.
Earlier on Saturday, Robin Van Persie scored hat-trick as Arsenal beat Chelsea in a memorable Barclays Premier League Match at Samford Bridge. Manchester City stayed top of the table with a 3-1 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers while Manchester Unied beat Everton 1-0.
Chelsea leaded the match 2-1 in the first half, when Frank Lampard scored the opening goal with a close range header on 14 minutes. Van Persie had equallised on 36 minutes. John Terry's header from a corner put the blues in-front on 45 minutes.
In early second half Santos scored on 49 minutes and 6 minutes later Walcott put the gunners in the lead. More thriller came when Mata equalised on 80 minutes but this time arsenal leaded with two late goals from Van Persie.
Javier Hernandez scored the only goal for Manchester United to keep the team on the pace in the League.
Manchestar City stayed on the top after beating Wolves 3-1 despite the team was reduced to 10 men. Edin Dzeko, Alexander Kolarov and Adam Johnson scored the second half goals for City. Wolves scored from the penalty shot that came from captain Vincent Kompamys' foul for which he was sent off.
