Bulb sets world record

A new a world record has been set for the oldest light bulb by a fire department, the 5-watt carbon filament bulb burning in the Livermore firehouse light.

This bulb has been burning since 1901 and sets the world record for oldest light bulb.
An average bulb last for 750-1,000 hours, but this bulb has burned for nearly a million hours.
