In India access to HIGHER EDUCATION is 12.4% and India is coming at a breathtaking 30% by 2020. IMF and World Bank believe it will get to this target.
India has 504 universities with an enrollment of over 16 million students. And India has set an enrollement target of over 40 million students by 2020. Once again he experts believe that India will achieve it without a misstep. To add more illumination to this figure, consider the fact that in the next five years, India is all set to open 29 more universities and 40 other quality institutes. To crown it all, India could produce over 8,000 PhDs every year.
