Need a Device to test your application?

The new Device Loaner Program is intended as a low cost option to allow developers to test their applications on a physical Sony Ericsson device for up to 30 days. A credit card is required to join the program, and for a limited time, Sony Ericsson will cover the shipping fee ($18 US) for the device.

Inventory is limited, and only one phone is allowed per customer, so place your order as soon as possible. If the device is not returned, the full retail, unlocked, no-contract cost of the device plus a 10% restocking fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

The program is initially aimed at the U.S./Canadian market, but if you’re ordering outside of North America, please be aware that you’ll be paying for international shipping fees, plus applicable customs/duties for your particular destination. We may be able to allow international shipping in the near future.

To set up an account, follows these steps:

1. Go to https://www.viennachannels.com/register.php?P=se1 for online registration.
2. Fill out your information on the registration page, select a user name and click the Submit button.
3. Check your email for a registration notification. In the email, go to the Account Activation web page using the login link and system-generated password provided by Vienna Channels. Your password can be changed after logging on.
4. After activation, go to the login page at https://www.viennachannels.com/sonyericsson1, provide a valid credit card, and click the Submit button.
5. Once a credit card is on file, you will have full access to the Device Loaner Program site.

From the Sony Ericsson Device Loaner Program main page, there are options to:

• view the products and specifications
• place your order
• check inventory levels for the available devices
• generate shipment reports
• update/change account information
