PAKISTAN SPENDING UNDER 2% OF ITS GDP ON EDUCATION

We are one of the nine countries in the World lagging behind in terms of children going to primary and secondary schools according to the latest figures released by UK's Department for INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. AND if we are to include NON-STATE efforts- TRUST SCHOOLS, ARMY SCHOOLS, NGO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS, then we spend close to 3% of GDP. Therefore in a country where 48% of the population is below the age of 24, and where very little foreign investment is coming in, the future looks dark and threatening/Courtesy Foreign Desk.
