American Airlines Slide Into Bankruptcy

Like many other companies, now American Airlines parent company AMR has gone bankrupt because of high labor cost and rising jet fuel cost. American bankruptcy has caused many major corporations to suffer on a large scale.
Denny Kelly, airline analyst says:
“The consumers, themselves, are probably not going to be affected that much; it’s going to be the employees that are really affected,”
AMR fell by suffering loss of $162 million in the third quarter and $2.7 billion last year while the other major airlines posted profits.
