Bill on Women Rights

PAKISTAN: A bill, aimed at prohibiting exploitation and discrimination against women, and titled, The Prevention of Anti-Women Practices, has been unanimously approved by the National Assembly. The bill sets punishments for crimes such as, forcing a women into marriage,weddings in exchange for personal gains or settling difference. Some NA members have also raised objection.
