Carlos Tevez accepts misconduct charge

Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez has decided not to appeal against the two-week fine (£396,000) for his misconduct in a Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September. The four-weeks fine was reduced to two-weeks following interventions from the Professional Footballers' Association.
The Argentinian had refused to come as a substitute on last 35 minutes in the defeat against Bayren Munich. After the match the club's manager, Roberto Mancini said, "He refused to come on the pitch. If I have my way, he will be out. He's finished with me.".
Tevez regarded the incident as a "misunderstanding", explaining that he did not warm up. He has not yet apologized to the manager. He hopes to leave the club as soon as January transfers windows opens.
