Dalton Students Dislike Competitiveness At School

A survey conducted by The Daltonian, the student newspaper at Dalton, revealed that while the students there strive to embody confidence, intelligence and friendliness, they associate competitiveness with their peers and the educational environment.

Answering a question regarding what qualities they wanted to see in themselves, 29.9% went for confidence, 27.1% for friendliness and 26.6 % for intelligence with friendliness, honesty and trustworthiness topping the list that they appreciated in others.

The qualities disliked most by the students were competitiveness, athleticism and spirituality with many students linking ambition and competitiveness with the school.
