Growth In German Tourism Market

Even at a time of economic difficulty, Germany is becoming increasingly popular destination for the travelers from all over the world.

In September 2011, the destination achieved its best result since accommodation statistics started to be collected after the country’s reunification.

According to the latest figures given by the German Federal Statistical Office, the number of overnight stays by international visitors in September 2011 rose by two percent year on year to 6.3 million, while 49.8 million was the total overnight stays by international visitors between January and September 2011.
