Indian Students Come Up With A 'Nano Bike'

NAGAPATTINAM, India -- Students of mechanical engineering at PRIST University in Tamil Nadu have designed a 'nano' bike that can give mileage of up to 97km/litre of petrol. The students, who are in their final year, came up with the design in collaboration with Hi-Tech Project Industries.


Th 25-kg motorcycle can carry a single person reaching speeds up to 45kmph. The students claim that the production costs would only be about Rs. 8000 per unit.
