Lesser Number Of Students Buying Books, Shows Survey

A survey conducted by the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at University of California, shows that in an effort to control their expenses, most students are opting not to buy books anymore. Instead, most of them are relying on other means of obtaining the same material such as borrowing and renting.

While higher education costs remain the main cause of this behaviour, other factors such as e-learning and increased library book reserves have also contributed a lot.
