Leverkusen stun Chelsea to progress, Arsenal beat Dortmund to qualify to the next stage


November 23: The prolific Netherlands international Robin van Persie again scored a double as Arsenal beat Dortmund to qualify for the Knock-out stage.
Just four minutes into the second half, Persie head the ball into the net following a wonderful conribution from Alex Song. He scored another goal in 81 minutes when Arteta's corner found him unmarked at the back post. Kagawa scored for Dortmund in the stoppage time but it was too late for the German club.
Bayer leverkusen beat Chelsea 2-1 to lead the group, while the competetion toughens between the Group E teams to qualify to the knock-out stage.
Didier Drogba had put Chelsea in front three minutes after the break while  Daniel Sturridge being the architect of that goal. Derdiyok equalised in 72 minutes with a neat header from Sam's cross and after 90 minutes Friedrich headed the ball through a sea of blue shirts sealing the victory.
Barcelona beat AC Milan 3-2 to lead the group. Both teams have qualified for the next stage.
Mark van Bommel, under pressure from Xavi Hernández, scored a own goal but Ibrahimovich equallised in 20 minutes. Lionel Messi restores his team's lead with a penalty. Milan again equalised after an individual brilliance from Boateng in 54 minutes.
Xavi Hernández's strike, on Messi's superb pass, clinched victory and first place in Group H for Barcelona.
