NEW H20 PHASE DISCOVERED

Apart from vapor, ice and liquid , Scientists have discovered a fourth state of water! Liquid water freezes into its solid (ice) state at 32 FahrenHiet but at the bottom of oceans, due to high pressure conditions, water stays liquid. This fourth form of water exhibit mixed properties, both of liquid water and ice, but which, laboratory equipment can not reveal.

"Researchers Pradeep Kumar and H. Eugene Stanley used a computer simulation to model the elusive liquid. They found that at about 54 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, the local structure of water seems to become extremely ordered, like ice, while undergoing sharp but continuous structural changes and remaining liquid", writes Tim Wall of Discovery News.
Another interesting point to note is that,at this temperature, water becomes a better conductor of heat. This is the opposite of what happens with regular liquid water and ice.
