NUST
The Japanese company has announced an Android tablet for the local consumers only. The business model Android tablet is running on the latest OS version of the Android, the 3.2 Honeycomb. Further the BizPad is available in two screen versions, namely the BizPad JT-580VT; the smaller version with a 7 inch display and the JT-581VT the bigger version of the BizPad possessing a 10.1 inch LCD display.
Panasonic has announced that bot these units would be shock,
water and dust proof! It claims that the bigger version can survive a ‘jump’ of
80 cm while the smaller one can land and still function properly from a 120 cm
drop! This “proofing” is sure to attract customers in Japan. Also both devices
are equipped with an NFC reader. Further you will find a replaceable battery, a
USB port, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a micro SD slot for memory expansion and a
powerful ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor. The list goes on with the addition
of a 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage capacity. Panasonic has added the
infrared feature too, which many devices are lacking now-a-days, by which you
can turn your device into a remote control. The 7 inch version of the BizPad
has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels while its bigger brother supports
a high resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The devices also have a 3G as an option
and house a 5 MP camera. The BizPad is expected to be released by January 2012,
in Japan of course.
