“Open my school! I want to study and I am not afraid of anyone.” ~ Malala Yousufzai , the girl who raised her voice against ban of  female education in Swat.
 

The brave Pakistani girl living in militancy-hit Swat, will be awarded with National Peace Award as announced by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Thursday. She will also be awarded with Rs500,000 prize money, an official statement added.

Girls in Swat were not only restricted from going to school but their schools were blasted to add to miseries.Malala Yousufzai has also been nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize 2011 for her courageous act against such injustice.
