Apple Seeks to Quell Environmental Concerns in China

China -- Seeking to quell concerns raised by environmental groups in China, Apple has laid out improvement plans including probes of some of its suppliers. Beijing-based spokesman for Apple, Carolyn Wu said "we require that our suppliers provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and use environmentally responsible manufacturing processes wherever Apple products are made".
