Record Breaking Video Game, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Call of Duty:MW3) broke records and sold more than 6.5 million copies in the first 24 hours. The game did sales of more than $400 million in the first 24 hours in USA and Britain alone. Its total sales exceeded the box office takings for the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings film series.

The game is a first person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer games and was released on November 8, 2011 in Europe and North America on Xbox 360, Play Station 3, Microsoft Windows and Wii. It is a direct sequel to 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
