Students Urged To Fight Global Warming

MANILA, Philippines -- Students of mechanical engineering were called upon to take steps to reduce the ever-increasing global warming since they are equipped with the necessary skill and expertise required to combat the issue of climate change.

The students participating in the 1st National Student Conference organized by the Philippine Association of Mechanical Engineers, were addressed by the Climate Change Commissioner Heherson Alvarez who believes that "mechanical engineers should be warriors for global survival by taking the initiative to go to communities and address the sensitive issue of climate change".
