Pensive: Extend The Helping Hand

I was running pretty late for a number of tasks today, with a workload promising to break the spine of even the most dedicated of workaholics, when all of a sudden a friend of mine offered to do one of my assignments for me. Phew! Relief and a lot of affection for that friend was all I could feel for a couple of hours.

Yes, that indeed is the beauty of helping others. The feeling of mutual affection that is born out of this simple yet beautiful practice is simply inexplicable. A virtue that some hold extremely precious, it adds value to every relationship, strengthening it even more. So, the next time you face a situation like that, don't think twice. Just extend that hand of yours -- the one called the 'helping hand'.
