Protest for early rechecking of papers

Lahore November 1: Students protested in front of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education demanding early rechecking of their papers to declare correct results. The demonstration was organised by the Students Action Committee led by Adil Rana.

Several students were injured by the police to disperse them.

Later, chairman of Lahore Board negotiated with Adil Rana and assured that the results would be delivered by November 4. Students warned of the protests if the Board chairman failed to honour his commitment.
