School-boy Beaten To Death in Chiniot

Hassan Ali a student of class 7th in the Government High School of Chak 147/JB on the Chiniot-Aminpur Bunglow Road had a quarrel with his classmate Rizwan Ahmad. It has been alleged that Hassan was severely beaten up by Rizwan and his uncle Mohammad Zafar who is a physical training teacher in the same school. He was taken to the district headquarters hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police arrested Rizwan and Zafar and registered a case against them. Mehr Ashraf Ali the Executive District Officer (Education) suspended the teacher and ordered an investigation.
