Professor Han Kangxin of the Institute of Archeology, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted a research on the unearthed bones in the tombs of Yanghai at Turpan, China. He observed 500 skulls and revealed that the people of multi-national inhabited in Yanghai in ancient times. Most of these were East Asian and European( Indo-european, Caucasian and Medierranean) and Mongolia.

These multi-national people, attracted by the enviroment, entered Turpan Basin 3000 years ago and lived there for about 1200 years.The complete cultural sequence of Yanghai indicates that there was no war or unrest for this period of 1200 years.
People of different ethnic group lived in harmony and as a result a brilliant Turpan civilization came into being.
