Recent researches of NASA suggests that Jupiter's moon Europa has water bodies of the size of Great Lakes just two miles below its icy surface. Scientists are now on finding either the freezing satellite is suitable for any life or not.
Scientists think that a huge ocean larger than all of earth's oceans combined exists below the surface of Europa but the ice layers are very think and Europa is so far from the sun so its difficult for water to come on upfront.
After analyzing data from the NASA's Galileo space craft, blocks of ice are found on the surface which may be in contact with the lake like water body underneath.
