White roofs have always been preferred by all. It reflects sunlight and keeps the house cool..scientifically proven!! But recent studies coming into limelight suggest a totally different aspect..much of a concern!
The Gist of it is that, while white roofs give a cooling effect, they too create a significant amount of temperature difference between earth and the air. This temperature difference is the actual cause of cloud formation in nature.The result is...less clouds..more heat penetration..more the global warming..
