Airless Tyre

Bridgestone Corporation has announced it has developed a non-pneumatic (airless) concept tire. This tyre is different from similar concepts presented in the past as it could be easily adapted for mass production.
The Non-Pneumatic (Airless) Tire Technology – on display at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show – uses an unique structure of spokes stretching along the inner sides of the tires supporting the weight of the vehicle.
