Belgian Protest ends with shaving the year-old beard

Belgium : A radio presenter agitated by the prolonged talks of forming a new government had grown a beard in protest. Now the year is out, this man shaved on Monday Dec 5, 2011 in relief of formation of the new government.

Koen Fillet joined 800 others to support the call of actor Benoit Poelvoorde in January 2011. The nation wasn't happy with the protracted negotiations after a June 2010 elections. As the talks were dragging on, many of the protesters gave up and shaved but Fillet never did !
