Bill Gates Sets Yet Another Milestone

Bill Gates is planning to build a Nuclear Reactor in CHINA! He already had a discussion with China’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MIIT) to jointly develop a new and safer kind of nuclear reactor.

Its still a question why is he building a nuclear reactor in China instead of US but he surely seems to take lession from Fukushima disaster and aims to make safest ever Nuclear Reactor.

Gates said: “The idea is to be very low cost, very safe and generate very little waste. The reactor require no human action to remain safe at all times. TerraPower is having very good discussions with CNNC and various people in the Chinese government. China has a lot to contribute because it’s solved many of the problems of poverty, not all of them but a lot of them, itself, and many Asian, south Asian and African countries are well behind, whether it’s agriculture or health.”

For execution of great innovative idea Gates chose TerraPower, a Washington state-based company that Gates funded. TerraPower is developing a Generation IV nuclear reactor that can run on depleted uranium, that is being developed between Terrapower and Chinese engineers that would prioritize long-lasting, clean energy with minimal waste. The project could top $1bn in the next five years.
