A chimpanzee who is reportedly said to have acted in Tarzan films in the 1930s has died aged 80.
The chimpanzee called Cheetah died of kidney failure, according to the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary, the place of the chimp's dwelling. He had been at the sanctuary for the last 50 years after moving from Johnny Weissmuller's estate in 1960.
Cheetah starred alongside Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan in the films.
