Species adapt with time and climate changes. Over years and years, many have gone extinct others have adapted. But as the climate change rate is so fast, new researchers have found that its 100 times faster than species can adapt.

Species have been responding to climate change since ever and they adapt to suit the climate. But this is a rare condition ever happened that change is faster than they would be able to adapt. This implies direct threat to their existence as climate change rate isn't allowing them to adapt.
