Dravid wants Test cricket to flourish

Canberra, December 14: Rahul Dravid believes that the one-dayers are becoming meaningless and should be limited to just major tournaments like World Cup and Test cricket should be focused more, which he described as "the gold standard".
"Cricket must find a middle path," Dravid said. "It must scale down this mad merry-go-round that teams and players find themselves in: heading off for two-Test tours and seven-match ODI series with a few Twenty20s thrown in."
Earlier Greame Swann said to scrap one-dayers.
"Maybe it's finally time to do something about it ... Anything makes more sense than seven-match ODI series," Dravid continued.
He also insisted to introduce day-night Tests.
"I played a day-night first-class game in Abu Dhabi for the MCC - and my experience from that was that day-night Tests is an idea seriously worth exploring," he said.
