Georgetown Students 'Dig' Into China's Tunnel System

The "Underground Great Wall", the vast network of tunnels used by the Chinese to hide their missile and nuclear arsenal, has turned into an obsessive research topic for a group of students from Georgetown University.

The students, after having gone through hundreds of documents including restricted Chinese military text as well as huge amounts of online data, are yet to release the results of the study which threaten to undermine the efforts being made against the proliferation of nuclear weaponry.

The students' professor, Phillip A. Karber,  an 'ex-Pentagon official' professor, led an elite research team created by Henry Kissinger to look into the weaknesses of the Soviet Union and subsequently worked as a top strategist during the Cold War.
