GRAPE PULP AND SNOW PLOWS

After heavy snow fall, road blockage is very common. Swiss authorities have tried almost everything to clear snow off roads and sidewalks which includes alcohol, apples and seashells. Few things last longer but are more expensive, other are not effective at all.
But recently a startup has come up with a product 'Snowfree' made of grape seeds and pulp. Snowfree are small pellets made of grape "waste" – seeds and pulp remaining after the fruit has been pressed into wine — each containing a small quantity of salt.
Startup founder - a Swiss perfumers when tried to reason on why does snow melt so much faster in vineyards than elsewhere, ended up on creation of Snowfree. Company claims that product can cut down use of salt by 70%.
The product, already tested in France, its 15-20% more expensive than regular salt, but the Swiss company claims that it lasts significantly longer.
