The Grey - 2012

An upcoming thriller horror film, that centers on group of oil-rig roughnecks, who are left stranded on the sub-arctic tundra after their plane experiences a complete mechanical failure and crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. The survivors, battling mortal injuries, biting cold and ravenous hunger, are relentlessly hunted and pursued by a vicious pack of rogue wolves, who see them as intruders.

Though set in Alaska but the film was shot in British Columbia and Canada. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan with producers Ridley Scott and Tony Scott as well as actor Liam Neeson, who collaborated on the 2010 action film The A-Team.

The Grey is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2012 by Open Road Films.
