We are all students ! Every single one of us on this planet Earth is a student. All 8 billion of us is a student.

All of us carry a picture in our heads of how things should work. In this picture, everyone has a pretty good idea of making of a great student.

A great student believes in thorough grounding in his professional pursuits. His civic and social responsibilities. And he is determined to make a contribution.

In the making of a great student the factors of employment and job are understood. Not lining up applicants on the basis of a variable called "QUALIFICATIONS" ....

And you elevate the principle of equal opportunity. But you also stand up for affirmative action. Though you never forget the principle of Merit. Great students don't have to imagine what their true future would be like without the perceptions of the above mentioned factors. Simply stated , there would be no future worth it.

To sum, it's fine and laudable to give an edge to people who have overcome remarkable challenges to get where they are. That for sure is a genuine qualification , not just a gift !

No one can remedy for accidents of birth and the randomness of FATE. God help us all !
