Jose Mourinho: Luck responsible for the defeat against Barcelona

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho insisted that their 3-1 defeat was due to bad luck. Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in their first Clásico meeting as their fifteen successive victories came to an end.
Despite the scoring of the fastest goal by Karim Benzema in just 22 seconds Real Madrid suffered the defeat as Alexis Sánchez, Xavi and Cesc Fábregas sent Barcelona back to the top of the table .
"That was pure luck," Mourinho said. "It was not talent, it was not a mistake, nothing – it was just lucky. At 1-0 we had a chance to make it 2-0 and Cristiano, who's a fantastic player, normally scores those. Then Kaka's shot went wide off Valdés, which was lucky, too."
