Low on Self-esteem? Here you go...

By Sarah Mahmood

Undermining oneself or believing in one's own inferiority is a habit many are prone to. They truly believe others to be somewhat wonderfully super human beings, a status that they, the not-so-gifted ones can never hope to achieve. This usually leads to an underestimation of one's own self, envy for the other person's abilities or belongings and sometimes to extreme cases of frustration and depression (and additionally self-hatred).

True, some are more gifted in one sense of the word, but then again the others are more gifted in another sense of the word! Diversity, see! That's what led Jobs into creating Apple and Gates into Microsoft! Two Apples with two Jobs or two Microsofts with Two Gates could never really have been very satisfying. It's the versatility that attracts, and that has to be admired.

But what creates a Jobs or a Gates for that matter? Well, in addition to a hell lot of other things, there's always the high self-esteem that these people tend to have in huge amounts. And of course the self-confidence that comes along!

So, the next time you feel low and inferior to the rest of humanity, tell yourself to buck up. Start believing in yourselves. Explore your abilities. Discover your aptitude. Good luck!
