Manchester United beat Wolves, Arsenal moves ahead

Manchester United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-1 in a much needed win after they were knocked out of the Champions League.

0n 17 minutes Nani scored the opener from just outside the penalty box and Rooney doubled the lead just ten minutes later when his shot squeezed through three Wolves defenders. 

Wolves improved just 2 minutes after the break when Fletcher headed from close range. Ten minutes later Nani grabbed the goal within the 6-yards box. Valencia assisted both of the goals by Nani.

Valencia made the forth too, passing Rooney who volleyed to the bottom left corner of the goal.

Arsenal moved to the top four when Robin van Persie scored with a spectacular volley to beat Everton 1-0.

Thierry Henry and George Graham, one of the greatest managers in the club’s history, were also watching the match in the stadium. Persie scored his 34th of the year and passed the Henry's record in Premier League.

Liverpool beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0. Luis Suarez headed on Adam's cross from inside the six-yard box, just after the break.
