One for the Money - 2012

An upcoming action-comedy film based on the 1994 novel of the same name, written by Janet Evanovich.

The story is about an unemployed and newly-divorced woman named Stephanie Plum, who convinces her bail bondsman cousin, Vinnie, to give her a shot as a bounty hunter. Her first assignment is to track down a former cop, Joe Morelli, on the run for murder -- the same man who broke her heart years before. With the help of some friends and the best bounty hunter in the business, Ranger, she slowly learns what it takes to be a true bounty hunter.

The film is directed by Julie Anne Robinson starring Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum, Jason O'Mara as Joe Morelli, Sherri Shepherd as Lula, Debbie Reynolds as Grandma Mazur, Daniel Sunjata as Ricardo Carlos Manoso (Ranger), Patrick Fischler as Vinnie Plum and John Leguizamo as Jimmy Alpha. Scheduled to be released on January 27, 2012 by Lionsgate.
