Species Extinction And Addition!

A psychedelic gecko and a monkey with an "Elvis" hairdo are among 208 new species described last year by scientists in the Mekong River region of Southeast Asia, a conservation group announced Monday.

Hanoi, Vietnam is a biodiverse region that is threatened by habitat loss, deforestation, climate change and over development.
Amazingly 208 new species are discovered in the area last year which includes both plants and animals but two of these drew special attention towards them. One is noseless monkey - a monkey with an "Elvis" hairdo. It was new to the researchers group but habitats told the group that they are well familiar of these monkeys which shows they are present in large population. Another important one is psychedelic gecko.

As the world is facing species extinction, this is a great number of addition in just one go!!!
