Russia joins WTO after prolonged talks

After 18 years of talks and negotiations, Russia has finally become a member of the World Trade Organization. 




By far it is the biggest economy and the last of the G-20 to have joined the WTO, something made possible after the Swiss brokered a deal between Georgia and Russia.
