India's 18-year old student "Jyoti Amge" has broken the previous world Record for Shortest Women. Guiness Representatives measures Jyoti's height on Friday and found it to be 24.7 inches (62.8 centimeters),which is 2.76 inches (seven centimeters) lesser than the previous American 22-year old who had held the title since September. Amge wore a saree (India's National dress) on this occasion, She said she had been honured with an "extra birthday present" and that she was grateful for being so small as this characteristic has brought her recognition in the world.
