Shahid Afridi  skies the ball

Mirpur, December 3: Bangladesh top order batsman once again collapsed as Pakistan win the 2nd one-day international to seal the three match series.

Pakistan, batting first, struggled through out to score 262-7 in 50 overs. Imran Farhat departed early but Muhammad Hafeez and Younis Khan added 57 runs to give a descent start. After Hafeez edged to Kayes and Younis trapped lbw by Abdur Razzak, Misbah-ul-Haq and Umar Akmal (59) put on a significant 83 for the fourth wicket. Afridi's 42 from 27 balls - three fours and two sixes - boasted the score at the end.

The 263 run target proved too much for the hosts, particularly after they slouched to 19-4 as Umer Gul and Muhammad Hafeez both took 2 wickets. Nasir Hossain, Man of the Match, scored the century to put some fight while Umer Gul claimed 2 more wickets as the Bangladesh scored just 186-7 in 50 overs.
