A survey by Western Union found that on Christmas 83 % of U.S consumers would rather want to have cash instead of gifts.
The survey also showed the worries of the consumers for this holiday season. More than anything else, consumers in the U.S. are concerned about overspending (38 percent) as their top holiday season worry. Eating too much (14 percent), finding the perfect gift (11 percent), seeing family (8 percent), and meeting work commitments (5 percent) stack high on the worry list, as well.
