Hafeez and other spinners overpowered Bangladesh |
Chittagong, December 6: Pakistani clean sweeped the series 3-0 as the hosts missed the finest chance in the series to end a losing streak against Pakistan that has lasted 12 years.
Pakistan, batting first, failed to bat out 50 overs but the stand of 94 between Misbah-ul-Haq (47) and Umar Akmal (57) made the difference as Pakistan gave a target of 178 runs.
Shahriar Nafees and Mahmudullah's 2nd-wicket partnership gave the hosts a good start, chasing a small target before Muhammad Hafeez and other spinners bowled devastating bowling as Bangladesh crumbled from 69-1 to 119 all out.
