Dali: Persistence of Memory (1931) Museum of Modern Art, New York |
Oxford University academics have found that the brain responds differently to artwork depending on whether it is said to be authentic, or merely a good imitation.
People on whom test was performed were shown art work while their brain was under monitor.
They couldn't first recognize original art work, when put with many imitated copies. But after they were specified the original one, their brain response towards original one was changed to great extent.
Let's conclude that at times its good to believe its original :)
