Tendulkar again missed his 100th ton

Sachin Tendulkar again missed his 100th century when Peter Siddle bowled him on 73 runs on the 2nd day of the 1st Test match between India and Australia.
Tenduldar along with Rahul Dravid (68 notout) lifted India to 214-3 in reply to Australia's first innings 333.
The 38-year-old looked good for his 100th international ton as he reached his 50 off 55 balls with six boundaries and a six.
Siddle ended a 117-run third wicket partnership between Tendulkar and Dravid in the final over of the day. This was the 20th century partnership between them. Dravid reached his 63rd Test fifty.
Earlier Cowan and Ponting both struck half centuries but paceman Zaheer Khan (4-77) and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (3-81) limited Australian innings to 333 runs.
