Police are on a hunting spree to track down the man behind the alleged torture of his 15-year old Afghan wife, Sahar Gul.
The teenage bride was found starving, locked in a basement by her husband and his family. Chunks of her hair, nails and flesh were found missing (cut out using pliers).
Her parents, worried about not being able to see her for months, contacted the police who subsequently freed her from a dungeon in the house of her in-laws.
She was reportedly tortured for refusing prostitution.
Some members of the family have been arrested but the husband, who is almost twice Gul's age, remains still at large.
