Ajmal, Gul inspires Pakistan to victory

Ajmal celebrates his 10-wicket match haul
Dubai, January 19: Saeed Ajmal completed his 10-wicket haul as Pakistan beat England with 10 wickets on the 3rd day of the 1st Test match.
England followed their 1st innings 192 with 160 in the 2nd innings, which left Pakistan chaing a total of just 15 runs. Mohammad Hafeez struk 3 fours to reach the target in style.
This time it were not the spinners to demolish English batting line-up, but were bounced out on a slow pitch in the desert by Umar Gul.
Umar Gul claimed the wickets of the top four before Ajmal and Abdur Rehman both took 3 wickets.
Kevin Pietersen and Alastair Cook both fell to poorly executed pull shots, while Ian Bell failed to read Ajmal's doosra for the second time in the match.
Only Jonathan Trott showed some struggle as he became the fourth-fastest England player to pass 2,000 Test runs, but gave his wicket away on 49 with a loose cut outside off stump.
In total, England's top six made only 143 runs between them in the match as Ajmal became the first spinner to claim seven lbw dismissals in a Test.
Earlier, Pakistan's last three wickets had added 50 runs as the hosts took their first innings total to 338.
