And she dies!

There's this great feeling of loss that I feel, despite the fact that I don't believe in worldly achievements as the epitome of our accomplishments.

Whatever you did was no mean feat. You made us all proud; you made us Muslims proud; you made us Pakistanis proud; you made us, your family, proud. You were, but a brilliant mind, the fruit of a fertile Punjab.

Yes, you are one of those, those extremely scanty few, that we will always cherish. May He, the Ever-Living, the Eternal, the Glorified, raise you to the most elevated of the ranks. Rest in peace, Arfa Karim.
